In my case quite a lot.
As a land scape photographer I am constantly monitoring my surroundings whether walking, or in a car, train, plane etc I am always looking for a composure in my line of sight that gives me a buzz. Of course its subjective any many might not perceive it as informative or beautiful Is I do? I have seen this same view every day now for many years The different shapes colours and textures always make me stop and stare, sometimes I fall into a short mediatorial state thinking deeply about some stuff then blink and quickly get back to the present. I think we all take a minute if we can to just gaze aimlessly out of any window is so resting and rewarding especially first thing in the morning when my brain is half awake its reassuring to see aspects of your view that you have become to know like a friend and they are always there what ever the weather.
My view isn’t perfect? there are telephone wires coming off a long pole out side my window, but like every thing unpalatable you have to ignore it and look for the pleasurable bits. In this exhibition I am inviting you through different lenses to be zoomed into the essence of my “Mirador”
Come and see my point of view.
